Di Matteo fires rallying call
Roberto Di Matteo says Chelsea will have to be perfect over two legs if they are to knock out Barcelona and make the final.
Chelsea have done well to make it this far after knocking out Napoli and Benfica but face by far their biggest test when they take on one of the greatest club sides Europe has ever seen.
The Blues have been written off in many quarters but Di Matteo says a shock could be on the cards if Chelsea reach the standards they know they are capable of over 180 minutes of football, plus extra time if needed.
Chelsea are buzzing after hammering Tottenham 5-1 at the weekend and they will need to reproduce the same kind of form if they are to go through.
"It's fair to say we need two perfect games," Di Matteo said. "But I think, also, that the fact we've been performing very well in the last six weeks gives us the belief we can produce two perfect games in this match.
"It's the biggest challenge for any manager to play against the best team in the world, but for every player as well, to be able to compare themselves against one of the top teams in the world."
