Drogba makes City admission

Chelsea, 12:03, October 10, 2009 ,

Didier Drogba has confirmed he would not be tempted to quit Chelsea to join super-rich Premier League rivals Manchester City.

The Ivory Coast striker added he never felt Stamford Bridge talisman John Terry would give in to City's overtures during their summer-long campaign to sign him.
Eastlands manager Mark Hughes produced successful raids for the likes of Gareth Barry, Carlos Tevez and Emmanuel Adebayor, but Drogba is not convinced City can consider themselves a genuine Premier League force yet.
"I wouldn't be tempted to move to City, not at all, and I don't think John ever was really," said the Ivorian.
"The top players in the world are all pretty loyal. If you are playing for a top European club, it is no secret you are going to be earning big money."
