Drogba still in Marseille thoughts

Marseille have confirmed they tried to re-sign Didier Drogba from Chelsea and could renew their interest in him in the new year.
Jean-Claude Dassier, the Marseille president, has confirmed rumours that they made a cheeky attempt to sign the Ivory Coast star and hoped to lure him from Stamford Bridge.
"We even tried to bring in Drogba, but this has not been possible," he said.
The latest reports suggest Drogba remains a target of the French side and they will try again for him in the new year transfer window and, if they fail then, also next summer.
"We'll see, you should never give up in life."
