Duo chase midfielder

Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun is locked in talks with two Premier League clubs with a view to a season-long loan deal.

Benayoun spent last season on loan with Arsenal but returned to Stamford Bridge after Gunners boss Arsene Wenger decided not to pursue a permanent deal. The midfielder does not figure in the plans of Roberto Di Matteo again this season and another loan spell is on the cards. "I can confirm that I'm in talks with two Premier League clubs about a loan move, hope to sort it by tomorrow evening," the midfielder confirmed on Twitter. The Israeli ace has refused to name the interested parties but his former club West Ham are thought to be one and Fulham the other as the Cottagers look to replace Moussa Dembele.
