Chelsea will have been alerted by Radamel Falcao's admission that he would like to 'sample' playing football in England in the future.
The 26-year-old Colombian international striker is currently plying his trade with Spanish Primera Liga outfit and Europa League winners Atletico Madrid, but has been heavily linked with a move to join the European champions. Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo last month played down talk of a move for Falcao in the near future, but that has not stopped speculation that he could be on his way to the Premier League. Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo confirmed his admiration for the former Porto star last week, while Falcao has now spoken out to reveal that a move would interest him. He told The Times: "England? One day, I could go. "It is a game I have watched for a long time and one day I would like to sample it. "I used to watch it on television when I was a kid. Players like Roy Keane, Eric Cantona, (Gianfranco) Zola. But the one I supported was (Faustino) Asprilla, when he was at Newcastle. "I think I could adapt to England. I think I could score goals."
