Hazard forgets Atletico defeat
Eden Hazard says Chelsea will not let the defeat to Atletico Madrid hurt them and insists the Blues will bounce back strongly.
Chelsea have started the Premier League campaign in blistering fashion when winning their opening three games but came crashing back down to earth as Atletico hammered them 4-1 in the European Super Cup.
Defeat was hard to take as Roberto Di Matteo was taking the game seriously and there have been suggestions the result could have a knock on effect in the Premier League.
However Hazard has dismissed such claims and says Chelsea will bounce back once they return after the international break.
"Perhaps it will make us work even harder when we all return to training," Hazard revealed. "Perhaps the change of environment will do us good and we will all come back stronger. We just need to forget about it and move on.
"From a personal standpoint, it certainly won't get me down. I'm a pretty natural guy and just take one game at a time. I'm already looking ahead to the next adventure."
