Hilario steps in for Cech
Chelsea goalkeeper Hilario will come into the side that takes on Manchester City after Petr Cech was ruled out with a calf injury.
Cech is facing a month on the sidelines after picking up the injury against Inter Milan and now Hilario has the chance to step in and shine, starting with the clash against City.
They are big boots to fill but Frank Lampard has every confidence in the player.
"Hilario has never let us down at all," Lampard revealed. "He has been brilliant every time he has come in, whether it is for one game or a run of them.
"That is something we are not worried about. You have to have faith in him, and Ross Turnbull behind him, and we certainly have that."
Elsewhere Lampard has now fully recovered from the virus that kept him out last weekend and he showed no ill effects during the Inter game, but Yury Zhirkov is still doubtful with a calf problem.
Florent Malouda slotted in at the San Siro but Paulo Ferreira, who was not registered for the Champions League, could now play against City.
