Luiz confident of making return
Chelsea star David Luiz says his hamstring injury is improving and he hopes to be ready for the Champions League Final.
Luiz has been sidelined since the 5-1 victory over Tottenham in the FA Cup semi final after picking up a hamstring injury and he is desperate to return against Bayern Munich on Saturday.
Chelsea have managed to make their way to the Final without the Brazilian but with Branislav Ivanovic and John Terry both ruled out on Saturday it is crucial he is passed fit.
Roberto Di Matteo and his staff will continue to monitor his injury, but the former Benfica star say he is hopeful of making it.
"It [the injury] is improving now and i am feeling better day by day," said Luiz.
"I wanted to play against Barcelona and I wanted to play the FA Cup Final, but now I have one more game more special than all others and for this I think and I hope that on Saturday I play against Munich."
Gary Cahill and Florent Malouda also have hamstring problems and are facing a race against time to make the game.
