Chelsea have announced they have agreed an undisclosed fee with Werder Bremen for Germany international Marko Marin.
The 23-year-old is one of the most sought after talents in Europe, with Arsenal and Liverpool having been linked with the midfielder in the past, who has been dubbed the 'German Lionel Messi'. However, the Blues have announced on their website they have agreed personal terms with Marin and he will become a Chelsea player once the transfer window reopens. Marin, who has 16 caps for Germany, is thought to have cost Chelsea in between €7-8million Euro. Speculation has suggested the deal will see striker Romelu Lukaku move in the other direction on a season long loan deal, while the arrival of Marin could mean the end for Salomon Kaolu, who's contract expires at the end of the season.
