Mega striker deal on cards
Chelsea, 10:08, July 20, 2010 ,
Chelsea will turn their attentions to Liverpool's Fernando Torres if Didier Drogba is sold to Manchester City for £20m.
Liverpool's World Cup winning striker has yet to meet with their new boss Roy Hodgson and make a decision on his own future at Anfield, but Chelsea are monitoring the situation and will make a move given half a chance.
Drogba's proposed move to City has come to light after his agent Thierno Seydi admitted he had spoken to the Eastlands club about a three-year £18m move for his player.
Seydi said: "Today he's at Chelsea. Maybe there will be surprises before August 31. I haven't spoken to just anybody. The only contact I've had directly was with City."
Seydi told Radio Monte Carlo: "At his age I can no longer hide the financial aspect. The club that want Didier will have to meet the price."
