Midfielder signs for Blues
Chelsea have completed the signing of Thorgan Hazard, who will join his brother Eden at Stamford Bridge next season.
The Blues snapped up Eden Hazard from Lille for £32million earlier in the summer and clearly see a lot of potential in Thorgan, who arrives from French outfit Lens for an undisclosed fee. The 19-year-old also plays in midfield but is unlikely to challenge for a place in the first team next season so Chelsea could loan him out to help his development. "He will now join our Under-21 squad, managed by Dermot Drummy, to continue his pre-season training and a loan move is being considered to continue his development," read a statement on the club's official website. Thorgan made just 11 appearances for the Ligue 2 club last season but there is a chance he could head back their on loan next season.
