Rivals nip in for starlet

Chelsea have missed out on the signing of Cadiz youngster Jesus Fernandez who has opted to join Liverpool, according to reports.
The 16-year-old is rated as highly as Cesc Fabregas was at the same age and there has been plenty of top-flight interest in the youngster, including an offer on the table from European champions Barcelona.
That offer will be rejected, however, and the attacking midfielder, known as 'Suso', is being tipped to sign a deal at Anfield this week as Rafa Benitez continues to try and add to his squad.
The news will come as a disappointment to Chelsea, who were known to be in the hunt.
