Samba hitman in Blues sights

Chelsea, 12:41, December 4, 2008 ,

Luiz Felipe Scolari is reportedly set to bolster his Chelsea strikeforce with a loan swoop for CSKA Moscow's Vagner Love.

The Blues boss is thought to be looking at the fellow Brazilian to bring more competition for places with Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka at Stamford Bridge and could make an offer in the January transfer window.
Love has been linked with moves to several Premier League clubs in the past year, but with Chelsea owner Roman Ambramovich having provided financial backing to CSKA Moscow in the past three years, it could put the Londoners in the driving seat to secure a deal for the player.
However with Chelsea thought to be wanting to take Love on a loan deal, they might lose out if any other club comes in with a firm cash offer.
