Second striker bid imminent
Chelsea,

Chelsea are set to make a new improved offer for Wigan forward Victor Moses after failing with a £4million bid.
Latics chairman Dave Whelan was left fuming and immediately rejected the offer but Chelsea will not go away and are preparing a fresh bid in the hope of striking a deal.
Moses only has 12 months to run on his current contract but Latics are still holding out for £10million and will fight to keep hold of the Nigeria forward.
Reports claim that Chelsea are willing to go to £5million but such a minimal increase on the original offer is unlikely to impress Whelan who says he is under no pressure to sell.
However it is understood that Moses wants to move to Stamford Bridge and has instructed his agent to open talks with Wigan to push for a move away.
Chelsea are likely to land their man eventually but there is some hard bargaining to be done in the meantime.
