Striker extends loan stay

Blackburn have extended the loan spell of Chelsea striker Franco Di Santo, who will spend the rest of the season at Ewood Park.
The Argentina youngster has impressed with Rovers despite only scoring one goal in 15 appearances and boss Sam Allardyce has always been keen to extend the loan spell.
There had been suggestions that the deal was in danger because of the player's personal terms but if there were any problems they have been ironed out and the striker will stay with Rovers.
A statement on Chelsea's official website confirmed: "Franco Di Santo's loan spell at Blackburn Rovers has been extended until the end of the season."
