Striker linked with Bridge switch

Chelsea, 13:23, July 20, 2010 ,

Inter Milan's controversial striker Mario Balotelli's agent claims that Chelsea are interested in the player.

Manchester City officials are in Italy to complete the signing of the controversial striker for £35m but his agent is trying to get the best deal he can for his player and has claimed there is other interest including Chelsea.
Balotelli's agent Mairo Raiola is said to be looking at a £4m a year four year deal and said: 'It's not just City who are after Balotelli - there are other clubs including Manchester United and Chelsea."
City boss Roberto Mancini is well known to the player who had a running battle with former Inter boss Jose Mourinho culminating in him throwing his shirt to the floor after being substituted in the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona. He also did not endear himself to Inter fans when he hinted he's rather play for arch rivals AC but Inter president Massimo Moratti still wants a top price for the player.
