Striker ready to join Chelsea
Chelsea's deal to sign Porto striker Hulk is reportedly close to completion after the club agreed personal terms with the Brazilian.
The 25-year-old made it clear he is desperate to leave the Estádio do Dragão earlier this summer and appears to be close to getting his wish as the Blues look to tie up a £40million deal.
With Hulk having agreed, in principal, a contract with Chelsea the last sticking point is believed to be the fee, with Porto desperate to hold out for £60million.
Blues owner Roman Abramovich has made it clear he isn't prepared to pay that much and hopes the fact Hulk wants to leave will mean Porto accept the offer which is on the table.
Should the deal for Hulk fall through then Chelsea are ready to turn their attentions to either Real Madrid forward Gonzalo Higuain or Atletico Madrid's Radomel Falcao.
