Striker set to return

Chelsea look set to field a strong side including Fernando Torres when making a final push for the top four at Liverpool tonight.

Roberto Di Matteo had all but given up on finishing in the top after the Blues lost 2-0 to Newcastle in midweek but after Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle all dropped points at the weekend there is still a chance to get in the back door. So the Italian has scrapped plans to put the second string out and John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Raul Meireles and Ramires, who are all suspended for the Champions League Final will play. Torres will also get a run against his former club at Anfield after watching from the bench as Chelsea defeated Liverpool 2-1 in Saturday's FA Cup Final. However Di Matteo will make some changes with Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole and Juan Mata likely to be rested ahead of Munich on May 19.
