Bayer Leverkusen striker Andre Schurrle says Chelsea have not been in touch but has hinted he would be interested in a move.
The Blues are in the hunt for at least one new striker this summer as doubts surround the future of Didier Drogba, Fernando Torres and Salomon Kalou and Schurrle has been linked. The 21-year-old, who is very highly-rated, already has 12 international caps with Germany to his name and will be part of their squad at Euro 2012 this summer. Schurrle insists no contact has been made just yet but says he will be interested to see what Chelsea have to say should a bid be forthcoming. "I and my agent have not had any contact [with Chelsea] so we will just have to wait," Schurrle told Sky. "We will see how interesting it is when it becomes concrete." Fellow countryman Marko Marin has already signed for Chelsea and if the latest reports are to be believed, he could be joined by Schurrle when the window re-opens.
