Terry to stay with Chelsea
Chelsea, 18:32, July 15, 2009 ,
John Terry has told Chelsea he wants to stay while Peter Kenyon says the Manchester City target is not for sale at any price.
City are refusing to give up in their pursuit of the player despite Chelsea already knocking back at least one bid and now chief executive Kenyon has moved to end the rumours once and for all.
Terry has stayed tight-lipped on all the rumours over a move to Eastlands but Kenyon insists the player is fully committed to Chelsea and wants to stay at Stamford Bridge.
"He is not available at any price," said Kenyon. "He's got a three-year contract. He's told us he doesn't want to go and we don't want him to go. End of story."
