Winger linked with Germany
Chelsea, 14:57, December 23, 2008 ,
Bayern Munich are ready to make a bid to land Chelsea winger Florent Malouda when the transfer window opens in January.
The Blues French international is believed to have become surplus to requirements in the long-term plans of boss Luiz Felipe Scolari, who is happy to let the player move on.
The 28-year-old has been a long-term target of the German giants and they are willing to pay £8 million to sign him.
Scolari, who does not have much money to spend on new signings, could be willing to let him leave the club to raise funds so he can draft in his own targets when the window opens.
