Zhirkov pens Blues deal

CSKA Moscow's Russia winger Yuri Zhirkov has completed a reported £18million move to Chelsea.
The Blues had been strongly linked with the 25-year-old since the end of the season and have now wrapped up a deal which, it is reported, will see the player sign an £80,000-a-week contract until 2012 with the option of a fourth season.
Barcelona had been keen on Zhirkov, but have since dropped out of the running, leaving the way clear for Carlo Ancelotti to complete his first signing as Chelsea manager.
