Spireites set for change

Changes are in the offing for Chesterfield as they prepare for their must-win game at relegation rivals Walsall.
Manager John Sheridan described the performance in the 4-1 home defeat to Scunthorpe as 'unacceptable' and promised changes at the Banks's Stadium, indicating that players who have not been involved much could get a chance. Midfielder Mark Randall, absent from the team since October until coming on as a substitute at Wembley in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final, is a likely starter. Jamie Lowry is another hoping for a chance. He could feature in any of the midfield slots or at right-back. Another midfielder, Jimmy Juan, who has made just three starts amidst a run of injuries, is fit again and looks likely to be involved. Striker Scott Boden, midfielders Craig Clay and Derek Niven and utility players Dan Gray and Tendayi Darikwa have just a dozen npower League One starts between them this season and they too could get a rare chance to impress.
