Ben Williams and Karl Duguid will be monitored ahead of Colchester's final home game of the season against Tranmere.

Williams was forced out of last weekend's 1-1 draw at Bournemouth having suffered a foot injury, handing Mark Cousins his first start since September. Midfielder Duguid, meanwhile, lasted 31 minutes at Dean Court before being forced off with a knock. Otherwise, manager John Ward is expected to boast a fully-fit squad for the encounter. John-Joe O'Toole made his comeback from a hamstring injury to take his place on the bench against the Cherries, where he was joined by fellow midfielder Lloyd James after he returned from his loan spell at Crawley. Martin Rowlands was also available having overcome his hamstring strain but failed to make the matchday 16.
