Colchester manager John Ward described his team's 2-2 draw against Portsmouth as a "terrific advert" for the division.
Goals from Michael Rose and John-Joe O'Toole had given the U's a 2-1 lead, but with just four minutes remaining, substitute Jordan Obita rescued a point for the visitors. Although Ward's men remain without a win so far this season, the Colchester boss was happy with his team's performance. He said: "It was a terrific game of football and a terrific advert for our division. I had no surprises at the way Portsmouth played. "We were disappointed because we were leading with only a couple of minutes to go. But you couldn't really deny Portsmouth the point, because it was that sort of game of football. "Even at 2-2 we went back to try and win the game again and it was an open kind of game and I'm sure that the supporters enjoyed it."
