Ward rules out more signings

Colchester manager John Ward has hinted that he will not be making any further additions to his squad before the start of the season.

Ward has already seen his options swollen by the singings of forward pair Freddie Sears and Clinton Morrison, along with midfielder Marcus Bean this summer. "From last January we've been telling people the budget is going to be tighter this season," Ward told BBC Radio Essex. "We're pretty much done, probably a bit quicker than I thought we may be done, but I'm happy with that."
