Coventry City news

The Sky Blues were formed in 1883 but they had to wait until 1987 for their only major trophy, when they lifted the FA Cup at Wembley after a 3-2 win over Tottenham.

From 1899 to 2005, Coventry played their home matches at Highfield Road before moving to the 32,500 all-seater stadium in August 2005.

Famous Coventry players from the past include Gar McAllister, Robbie Keane, Cyrille Regis and Tommy Hutchison.
