Clark keen on quick Simpson swoop

Huddersfield Town boss Lee Clark is looking to wrap up the signing of Coventry striker Robbie Simpson before the end of June.
The Terriers are set to take the former Cambridge United forward to the Galpharm Stadium for around £350,000 after Sky Blues chairman Ray Ranson gave the League One side permission to talk to the player. And Clark is now hopeful of tying up the loose ends for Simpson as quickly as possible.
He told the Huddersfield Examiner: "Myself and my staff have seen quite a bit of Coventry, and he's one of a number of names we've noted.
"In an ideal world, I'd love to have all my new men here when we start training on June 29, but if we have to wait a while, then so be it."
