Chris Coleman has called for the ban on monitors in the dug out to be scrapped claiming they help managers to keep calm.
The Sky Blues boss was sent to the stands in the 3-0 loss to Bristol City at the weekend and blames the incident on there being no way for him to watch a replay.
Referee Phil Dowd felt the force of Coleman's anger before sending him to the stands, Coleman will now have to wait to see if he faces a touch-line ban.
The Coventry boss had blasted Phil Dowd over his performance in the game but has now conceded the match official got the decision right.
"They have taken monitors out of the dugout but if I had seen the replay of the first challenge on the keeper that would have stopped me throwing my toys out of the pram because I would have said, 'Fair enough, I can see why he didn't give it.' A few things happened after that and then the penalty really got me to boiling point." Said Coleman.
"It is all right saying respect the referees, but let's help them out by having monitors - more often than not, it will stop managers doing what I did on Saturday."
