The City of Coventry Stadium has discovered which fixtures it will host in the men's and women's Olympic football tournaments this summer.

The stadium, usually known as the Ricoh Arena, has been renamed for the 2012 Games and joins Wembley, Old Trafford, the Millennium Stadium, St James' Park and Hampden in hosting matches. In the men's tournament, Belarus v New Zealand, Mexico v Gabon, Korea Republic v Switzerland, Japan v Honduras and Senegal v UAE will all be played in Coventry. In the women's tournament, Japan v Canada, Sweden v South Africa, Japan v Sweden, Canada v South Africa and New Zealand v Cameroon will take place at the midlands venue. The City of Coventry Stadium will also host one of the four women's quarter-final matches on August 3 as well as the women's bronze medal match on August 9. A crowd of 11,611 were present at the stadium on Monday night to watch Senegal beat Oman 2-0 in the men's play-off to book the final football place at this summer's Olympics.
