Relegation-threatened Coventry are hoping as many as six players will be passed fit for the trip to Burnley.

Strikers Alex Nimely (thigh), Cody McDonald (calf) and Clive Platt (hamstring) as well as defenders Richard Keogh (ankle) and Chris Hussey (hamstring) all played through the pain barrier in Easter Monday's crushing 3-1 defeat at Bristol City. Full-back Jordan Clarke also joined the walking wounded having been on the end of Brett Pitman's dangerous late challenge - enough to earn the Robins marksman a straight red card. But all six trained on Thursday morning and will be monitored ahead of the clash at Turf Moor, where Coventry desperately need points to boost their ailing survival hopes with just four games remaining. The Sky Blues will also hope to welcome back midfielder David Bell after his groin problems, but defenders Nathan Cameron, Richard Wood (both knee), Hermann Hreidarsson (shoulder) and midfielder Carl Baker (hamstring) remain sidelined.
