Crewe manager Steve Davis has insisted his players have the belief that they will make the npower League Two play-offs.
Alex are sitting in eighth spot in the table at present and are level on points with Oxford, who currently occupy the final play-off place. But the Cheshire outfit are on a fine run of form and Davis is confident his team have it in them to climb into the top seven by the end of the regular season.
He told the club's official website: "The players are playing with a lot of confidence and belief now and that has come from remaining unbeaten and playing well.
"We have been on a great run and they deserve all the plaudits because when I took over in November there was a concern that we could be dragged into a relegation scrap. To be here talking about a possible play-off place with just three games left is a remarkable achievement and they deserve credit.
"We are all in this together and there are going to be ups and downs along the way. The players have been on a great run. We have perhaps drawn too many games of late but everyone remains positive that we can finish the job off and get into the play-offs.
"We have done remarkably well but I am not finished yet. We want to go to that next step and get into the play-offs because we know it will be a great experience for everyone."
