Aussies bopped by Bopara
Ravi Bopara hit an impressive 82 as England beat Australia by six wickets to go 2-0 up in the five-match one-day international series.
Australia were looking for a quick response to Friday's narrow 15-run defeat at Lord's when the action moved to the Oval on Sunday afternoon. However, they were restricted to just 251-7 with Shane Watson and George Bailey coming out of the innings with any credit thanks to respective scores of 66 and 65. Tim Bresnan finished with two for 50 as Jade Dernbach, who replaced groin injury victim James Anderson, was the only bowler to not take a wicket. Despite the respectable total set, England made light work of it as Bopara's 82 and Ian Bell's 75 put them well on the way, before Eoin Morgan stepped in to fire an unbeaten 43 to see Alastair Cook's side home with 26 balls to spare. England can go top of the world rankings with a 5-0 series victory.
