England Twenty20 skipper Stuart Broad has backed batsman Eoin Morgan to come to the fore against the West Indies on Sunday.
Following a successful one-day series against the Windies, England are now preparing to take on the Caribbean outfit in the shortest form of the game at Trent Bridge. This will be the first Twenty20 game since Kevin Pietersen decided to retire from limited-overs cricket and Broad expects Morgan to take centre stage. He said: "We've seen some amazing performances from Eoin in Twenty20 cricket and one-dayers for a long time. "He's now probably our most experienced batsman in that set-up. Obviously we'll be looking to him to make big contributions and share his experiences with the guys in the squad. "He's a key cog for us now in this England team and I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do tomorrow."
