Duminy shatters Australian hopes
JP Duminy turned the second test back in South Africa's favour with a stunning century on a terrific third day at the MCG.
The South Africans had started the day on 198-7 and it looked as if the Australian's had all but wrapped up the test before Duminy stepped up.
Duminy hit an impressive 166 and helped The Proteas get to 459 at the end of their first innings, in a day that left the home side stunned.
To compound Australia's misery the tail put in a decent display too, Paul Harris hit 39 and Dale Steyn survived three let-offs to record a career-best 76 before being bowled out by Peter Siddle.
It was a remarkable turn-around by the South African's who have performed incredibly throughout the series, Australian openers Matthew Hayden and Simon Katich left the home side on 4-0 at the end of play.
