England's players could make a decision in the next 24 hours on whether to return to India for the Test series, according to reports.
The tourists returned home after the final two one-day internationals were cancelled, following the terrorist attacks in Mumbai last week which left over 150 people dead.
The England and Wales Cricket Board is awaiting a security report and said players would not be forced to go, with suggestions that some players have already refused to return.
Spinner Graeme Swann has admitted to not being 100 per cent happy about flying back out to India, insisting he had a "tricky" decision to make.
Meanwhile, ECB managing director Hugh Morris has been unable to confirm that Andrew Flintoff and Steve Harmison do not want to travel.
Speaking to Five Live on Sunday, Morris said: "I've not had confirmation from either Andy or Steve.
"What we are doing is pulling information together over the next 24 to 48 hours and we will be putting that to the players and their representatives."
