KP return pleases Anderson
England pace bowler Jimmy Anderson believes the side have moved past the Kevin Pietersen texting saga on their tour of India.
The South African-born batsman was back in action for the national side in their draw with an India A side in Mumbai and it looked like the 32-year-old was never away, having last played Test cricket back in August. With England preparing for their four-match series against India, Pietersen could well be the key to any results the Test outfit can get in the subcontinent. Anderson believes it has taken some work behind the scenes, but the England dressing room now seems to be united with Pietersen back in the ranks. He said: "All the stuff that's gone on, it's all well and good saying 'we're going to draw a line under it'. "But I think that's actually happened and it just seems to be back to normal in the dressing room and on the field."
