Kevin Pietersen is expected to meet with England team director Andy Flower later to discuss his international cricket future.
The controversial 32-year-old was dropped for the third Test against South Africa for sending what were described as "provocative" text messages to members of the opposition about his own team-mates. Hugh Morris, managing director of England Cricket, revealed this week that he was keen for talks with Pietersen, who could yet have a future with the national side despite the need for a repairing of relationships within the dressing room. "We will be seeking discussions. They will be behind closed doors," Morris said. It remains unclear if the authorities want the batsman back in the fold at this stage but the player himself is thought to be keen to build bridges and star for England once again.
