Essex chief executive David East feels it will be hard to replace the injured Peter Siddle for their Friend's Life Twenty20 campaign.

East has spoken out following the revelation that 27-year-old pace bowler, Siddle, has had to pull out of the switch after suffering a lower back problem which has forced him out of Australia's current tour of the West Indies.
Siddle must spend a month on the sidelines and will then require rehabilitation before he can return which means he will not be fit to make the move to the county side.
As a result, head coach Paul Grayson revealed that Essex are already busy looking for a replacement, but East is wary that it could be a difficult task trying to find the right man.
"We only found out overnight and we're putting our heads together about who would suit the balance of the squad and who is available, that's the biggest difficulty," said East.
"We were all looking forward to Peter joining us, but obviously no-one can do anything about an injury."
