Deccan Chargers' stand-in skipper Cameron White admits his side are out to spoil Bangalore's day in their final IPL clash on Sunday.

Chargers are set to take on the in-form Bangalore franchise in a match that means little to them but everything to the opposition. Deccan have won only three games this season and sit at the bottom of the standings, with no chance of reaching the play-offs, but it is a different story for Daniel Vettori's side, who know that victory this weekend will ensure they take part in the semi-finals. But it will not be easy to beat a Royal Challengers side that contains star West Indian batsman Chris Gayle, who is the tournament's leading run-scorer and smashed an amazing unbeaten 128 against Delhi Daredevils last time out. Bangalore can also boast the likes of Virat Kohli, Tillakaratne Dilshan and AB de Villiers in their ranks and are strong favourites to ease past Deccan to book their spot in the semi-finals. But White's charges pulled of an unlikely victory over Rajasthan Royals to eliminate them from the tournament in their last match and the Aussie wants more of the same in the season finale of the group stage. "When your are at the bottom of the table there is the hope to upset some other people's tournament," he said. "It's unfortunate that it happened to Rajasthan and hopefully we can finish with a win to finish the competition on Sunday. We need to win and that's our main goal."
