Crystal Palace are without suspended duo Wilfried Zaha and Dean Moxey for the trip to Barnsley.
The pair have both been hit by one-match bans following the weekend's 2-2 draw against Millwall. Zaha picked up his fifth yellow card of the season 10 minutes into the second half while Moxey was dismissed two minutes before the interval after handling Darius Henderson's header on the line, which sparked the Lions' fightback to earn a point. Darcy Blake is a doubt after being forced off with a second-half injury against Millwall. The defender will face a fitness test ahead of kick-off. Defender Paddy McCarthy remains unavailable with a groin injury that has prevented him making an appearance this season. Boss Dougie Freedman has no other injury worries as he looks to get the focus back on on-field events following Bolton's unsuccessful approach for the 38-year-old manager.
