Freedman cool on McCormack

Crystal Palace boss Dougie Freedman has cooled any reports linking him to Leeds striker Ross McCormack.
McCormack has been subject to much speculation since rejecting a new deal at Elland Road with the Eagles reportedly in pole position to capture him.
But Freedman, a former Leeds striker himself, has played down any suggestions of working with the fellow Scotsman.
"Ross is a fantastic player and I do know him quite well, but it might be a little far-fetched to suggest anything," the Eagles manager told the Croydon Advertiser.
"You are never close to a deal until a player puts pen to paper, but we are active in trying to do one or two deals.
"But we have got a bit more integrity in how we do stuff than to discuss it through the papers and we will do our business in the right way."
