Palace start to Sow seeds
Crystal Palace starlet Ghassimu Sow has signed a three-year contract with the Championship club.
The 17-year-old midfielder is the latest talent to come out of the Selhurst Park Academy which has produced the likes of Victor Moses, Wilfried Zaha and Sean Scannell in recent years.
Academy boss Gary Issott told the club's official website: "Gus is a terrfic lad both on and off the pitch and very different to what we have had in previous seasons.
"He is a very defence-minded midfield player and tackles phenomenally well, almost in a Makelele role.
"As an Under-16 he played every minute of every Under-18 game. We pushed him along early as we felt he was ready and he has not let anybody down."
