Dickinson nears Seagulls move

Derby County, 14:03, July 10, 2009 ,

Derby striker Liam Dickinson's agent claims the striker could be on his way to League One side Brighton.

The 23-year-old only joined Derby last summer in a £750,000 switch from Stockport County but has struggled to break into the first team at Pride Park.
The player's agent, Phil Sproson, claims talks with Brighton are at an advanced stage and expects his client to move on in a search for regular football.
Sproson said: "There is strong interest from Brighton in Liam and talks are ongoing,
"The two clubs are trying to agree a fee and I don't think they are too far apart.
"Liam wants to be playing regular first-team football and he knows his chances at Derby will be limited, so he is hoping a deal can be agreed with Brighton."
