Derby boss Nigel Clough could have both defender Andy Todd and striker Steve Davies available for the clash with Birmingham tonight.
The pair missed the draw with Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup after picking up knocks against Manchester United the week before but both are thought to be fit to play at St Andrews.
Stephen Pearson is back in training after being sidelined since undergoing knee surgery in October although he may not get a start in the clash against the promotion-chasing Blues.
