Ireland recognition for Hendrick

Jeff Hendrick has capped a terrific season at Derby with a call up to the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad.

Ireland face Denmark in a friendly on May 28 before a vital 2013 Uefa Championship qualifier against Italy on June 4.
Hendrick was named as Derby's young player of the year this season, during which time he made 43 appearances for the Rams and scored three goals.
Ireland are currently third in their qualifying group, six points behind the Italians who have played a game more.
