Iron test for Rams

Derby have been handed a home draw against Scunthorpe in Round One of the Capital One Cup.

Nigel Clough's side will host the Iron at Pride Park in the week commencing August 13. However, if mutually agreed, the Football League will consider requests to play on Saturday August 11 or Sunday, August 12. Scunthorpe finished 18th in npower League One last season and last visited Pride Park during the 2010/11 Championship campaign when Derby edged a five-goal thriller 3-2.
