Blues starlet extends Rovers stay

Doncaster have extended Birmingham midfielder Jordan Mutch's loan spell at the Keepmoat Stadium to allow him to play at Swansea.

The 18-year-old midfielder, who signed for Rovers in January, was due to return to St Andrews this week. However the Premier League outfit granted Mutch permission to stay with the club until May 4 which means he can feature at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday if boss Sean O'Driscoll selects him.
Mutch has impressed during his time in South Yorkshire in which time he has made 16 appearances and scored two goals, including a 30-yard effort on his debut in the 4-1 home defeat to Middlesbrough.
Meanwhile Rovers have allowed 26-year-old midfielder John Spicer to stay with League One outfit Leyton Orient until the end of the season. The player has started all 11 games for the O's, scoring once, since joining them in March.
