Doncaster ace hoping to impress national boss
Doncaster Rovers, 15:09, February 3, 2010 ,
Doncaster captain Brian Stock is hoping his recent form will be enough to earn him a recall to the Wales squad.
The Rovers captain spent three months on the sidelines with a knee injury but has impressed since his return to the side and hopes he has done enough to regain his place in the national set-up.
The Wales manager John Toshack kept in regular contact with Stock throughout his recovery and watched Doncaster's game at Cardiff on Saturday, leaving the former Bournemouth player to hope he has done enough to impress the boss.
Stock told the club's website: "He's phoned me numerous times and it's good to know that he's still ringing me. To come to the games is even better.
"I felt like I did alright (against Cardiff), hopefully he feels the same way."
