Ex-United star shown the door
Doncaster Rovers, 17:12, February 4, 2010 ,
Doncaster have confirmed former Manchester United midfielder Quinton Fortune has left the club.
The winger joined Rovers on a six-month deal last summer and initially did well at the Keepmoat Stadium as he looked to rediscover his best form.
However, his spell in the Championship was hit by injury and now he has moved on after the club decided against offering him a contract extension until the end of the season.
Fortune is followed out of the club by youngster Jack Wilson who has failed to force his way into the first team after joining from SPL side Hibernian last year.
